Using your knowledge about this area, what would you do and why?:[/b] [i]I would lockdown the exit's and entrances of the surrounding area's and stop every vehicle that enters and exits. I would also keep and eye for anything suspicious and encourage the public to inform us about any unusual. I would also start having more random traffic stops to look for anything suspicious.[/i] [b]A person runs at you with a knife, remembering the order of force, what would you do?:[/b] [i]I would use non-lethal force(knife, baton, etc) to immobilize the combative person and gain control of the situation.[/i] [b]You get back from a lunch break at the 24/7 and after you leave you see someone walk in with the clear intent to rob the store. What steps would you take to prevent this robbery?:[/b] [i]I would try to calmly talk the out of it and call it in to dispatch. I it escalates, I would use empty hand control(grabbing, holding, kicking, punching, etc) to gain control of the situation while back up arrives. I then would use no-lethal if it escalates more and last resort would use lethal force.[/i]
